How does Winter Apiary harvest the honey?
Honey is harvested twice a year, Spring and Fall. This is why some honeys are different shades, because it can vary depending on what pollen the bees were foraging in. We use special equipment to extract the honey from each comb and bottle the honey in our home based facility. Because we are a home based business, selling untainted, pure natural product, our packaging process does not require inspection by a state health department.
Payment and Delivery Information
At Winter Apiary, we offer secure payment options to ensure a smooth transaction process. Customers located within a 10-mile radius of Evansville, Indiana qualify for Doorstep Delivery with the purchase of a Monthly Honey Subscription. All other orders require local pick up, and pickup instructions will be emailed once your order is ready. If the customer signs up for a Monthly Subscription, they may request via the contact form to have their product orders delivered at the same time as the subscription delivery.
Monthly Subscription Information
Our Monthly Honey Subscriptions are available exclusively to customers within a 10-mile radius of Evansville, Indiana and include Doorstep Delivery. Your subscription will automatically occur on the 1st of each month, with deliveries being the following Monday between 3:00pm-7:00pm. Subscriptions are set to automatic withdrawal and will continue until canceled from the "My Subscriptions" tab when you log into your account on a desktop.
